Windows ME Setup - Dial-up Networking

1. On your desktop, double click the My Computer Icon.
Then Double Click the Control Panel icon




2. Double-Click the Dial-Up Networking icon




3. Double-Click the Make New Connection icon.




4. Click the Next button




5. Type in a name for the internet connection (i.e. AceWeb)

6. Then select your modem name from the drop down menu

7. Click the Next button




8. Type in the Local Access number that you will be using to connect to AceWeb

9. Click the Next button




10. You have now created your Dial-Up Networking connection.

11. Click the Finish button




12. To create a shorcut on your desktop, right click on the AceWeb icon and click Create Shortcut. Now, in the Dial-Up Networking window, double click on the AceWeb icon to connect to the internet

13. Enter your username. Be sure to add “@aceweb.com” after your username. (Example: username@aceweb.com)

14. Then type in your password




15. Click the Connect button to log on to the internet
