When you log on to AceWeb, a couple of common incorrect settings may cause the speed of logging on to take much longer.  Here is what you can do to check and fix the problem:

Go under the Dial-Up Networking settings under Windows.  Right Click on AceWeb, and select Properties.  Then click on the server types tab.  Next, complete these following steps under the Server types menu, and save your changes.  Note : you must be offline for these changes to take effect.

  • Uncheck Log on to network.
  • Check Enable software compression.
  • Uncheck Require encrypted password.
  • Uncheck NetBEUI.
  • Uncheck IPX/SPX Compatible.
  • Check TCP/IP.
  • Press OK.

Once these steps are done, re-login to AceWeb
