NNTP News Server Settings
NNTP News Server:
 cnews.newsguy.com
Login:
 username@aceweb.com (main account)
Password:
 Use your AceWeb password (main account)


1. Open the Netscape Communicator browser

2. Click on Edit, then select Preferences

3. In the left window pane, select Mail & Newsgroups, then select Newsgroup Servers

4. Then click on the Add button




5. For Server, type in cnews.newsguy.com

6. Check the box labeled “Always use name and password”

7. Click the OK button




8. The cnews.newsguy.com newsgroup server should now appear in the servers list

9. Click the OK button





10. To access the newsgroup server: In your communicator browser, click Communicator, then select Newsgroups

11. To view the list of available newsgroups and/or to subscribe to a newsgroup, right click on the news server and select “Subscribe to Newsgroups”

12. You should then be prompted for a username, type in your AceWeb email address when prompted

13. Then enter in your password when prompted




14. It may take a few minutes for the complete list of servers to load, after which you can subscribe or unsubscribe to any particular newsgroup
